We are so excited to bring a virtual Book Fair to Stratton this year! We are using the Book Rack in Arlington. The dates you can purchase are 12/1-12/8. Delivery will be 12/15-12/17. Please use this link to purchase https://fantasticbookfairs.com/pages/stratton. Please note all sales are final this year.

Book delivery:

Delivery will be to the classrooms for the hybrid students (12/15 for cohort A and 12/17 for cohort B). The remote families will be able to pickup on Wed 12/16 from the Stratton blacktop. There is also the option to have the books picked up at the Book Rack or sent to the purchaser, this is great for grandparents/caregivers/anyone on your gift giving list!

To buy and gift a book to a teacher:

Teachers have been asked to make a wishlist if they would like families to buy books for their classrooms. Click on "Buying for a teacher?" at https://fantasticbookfairs.com/pages/stratton.

If you are buying for multiple teachers and yourself, please separate the purchases. For example, a purchase for teacher Ms. Chambers, teacher Mr. Malone and my two sons Cliff and Norm would require 3 checkouts that way all the books get packaged for delivery correctly (or 4 orders if Cliff and Norm are hybrid students and would like to each receive a book in their classroom)

If you are in need of a scholarship for the book fair, please email Stratton School social worker Laurie Henry, lhenry@arlington.k12.ma.us.

If you have any questions, please contact Melissa Johnson at meljohnson1980@gmail.com or Kelly Mountain at kmountain72@gmail.com.

2020-2021 Stratton School Supplies

Welcome back to school!  The 2020/21 school year will not look exactly as we are used to, but the PTO is happy to be able to help make the back-to-school process a little easier for everyone! This year the PTO is providing school supplies for both hybrid & remote students. A date for remote students to pick up supplies is TBA.  Many supplies are similar to years past with a few additions.  Each students, both hybrid and remote will receive their own nylon zipper bag that will be used at home and school.

Instead of bringing in a grocery bag full of stuff on the first day of school, just send a couple of items specific for your child's new classroom and a check or cash.  See below for the specific items for each classroom.

For hybrid students Stratton teachers are requesting families to purchase a stadium style chair for outdoor use.  Please visit strattonpto.org for links to purchase. The PTO will purchase several for students in need of scholarships, please reach out to Stratton School social worker, Laurie Henry.

This is NOT designed to be a fundraiser for the PTO – we are charging families what we have paid, no more.  We have made considerable effort to research the best prices for the specific items selected by our teachers.

The cost shown under the family column is per student and is payable to Stratton PTO by check or cash on the first day of school.  You can also pay online via our Paypal link.

Pay for Supplies via PayPal

The PTO is able to support scholarship purchasing of materials listed under the column on the next page shown as PTO Provides.  Simply check off the box marked Scholarship on the attached form, and submit in an envelope to your classroom teacher. If you need a scholarship for items listed under the heading Families Provide please contact Mr. Hanna or Mrs. Henry.

Supplies for the SLC are also included in this bulk purchase so if your child has SLC as part of their programming, please remit payment for their grade and this will cover the supplies for their SLC classroom and their general education classroom.
